Who Watches the Watchers Data While Capes (Optional) is Down

This one is a bit unusual in that while there was an official Index series, it was not published by DC but rather one of their competitors, Eclipse, going by the name Independent. Still, it’s the closest we have to a DC Index. Other than the Crisis Crossover Index, included here anyway for completion sake, entries followed close to George Olshevsky’s 1980s Official Marvel Index books (and even that book properly indexes DC Comics Presents 94). All-Star Index ended prematurely, hence the limited listings. Legion Index also ended prematurely but at least made it to five issues Corrections/additions welcomed, but only for the books I’ve already tracked. I’m doing these in the order that my mood strikes me. I have all but the first Doom Patrol issue but I think I can make an educated guess at that one. I originally created this thread for the Comixfan site on Feb 3, 2013, 11:31 am. No one seems to have objected to the idea of a DC version of the Master List thread so here it is. Unlike the Marvel Master List, since there are only a few numerical entries like 2000 Committee, I intermingled them with the alphabetical ones. I do continue the Marvel list’s use of cross-references. Also, for real names DC lists by title and first name rather than surname. I tried to format according to the Marvel list but there were too many judgement calls blurring the line between code name and real name especially when adding in Who’s Who in the Legion so I finally gave up and reformatted those entries as Title, First Name, Last Name. Variations on “The” however will continue to be ignored. Licensed and other non-canonical characters: If they’re in the original Who’s Who or Update ’87 I include them (Who’s Who Update ’88-on dropped the non-canon material) in the main section; The Star Trek
